At Slate was the headline, “Trump is planning a federal investigation into mass voter fraud, which does not exist.”

This kind of thing is very common with our 'fake news' MSM. They know that most people will read the headline whether they read the article or not. This has caused a whole new meaning to the term "headline news" to develop. Instead of drawing the audience into an article and then subtlety injecting their opinion, now they blast the story, along with their opinion of the story, all in the headline itself.


They are doing this because readership and audience have been relegated to be a secondary concern. The most important concern of MSM is to make sure that their 'opinion' gets as many eyeballs as possible, so they blast it in the headline. If the whole article is read, great. But whether or not the reader reads the article or not, the MSM still gets their spin into the public zeitgeist. And that is the most important thing. That is their mission. Opinion and spin rules; 'truth' is naive. Truth, is whatever I say it is.
