Secret Service Looking Into Agent Who Wouldn't Take Bullet for Trump
Wednesday, January 25, 2017 12:07 PM

By: Jeffrey Rodack

The Secret Service said it is taking "appropriate action" after one of its agents said she would not want to take "a bullet" to defend President Donald Trump.

CNN reported the Secret Service action came after Kerry O'Grady, a senior agent in the Denver field office, posted on Facebook during the presidential campaign that she supported Hillary Clinton and would not honor a law that forbids agents from airing their political beliefs.

The Washington Examiner said that in one Facebook post written by O'Grady in October, she endorsed Clinton and said she would endure "jail time" rather than "taking a bullet" for what she claimed was a "disaster" for America.

The only appropriate action in this case is firing.  Not only did she violate the Hatch Act by endorsing Hillary, but for a Secret Service Agent to violate the Hatch Act by supporting one presidential candidate over another should be intolerable.

And that's not even getting to her comment about not taking a bullet.

To liberals oaths are just words with no meaning, just like the words Truth, Honesty, Loyalty, Patriotism, Honor, Duty, Faithfulness.......

If they are not going to protect one person they are grinding an ax against how are you supposed to know what other people she will be derelict on?

BTW, her post against Trump was a direct violation of a federal law. She should be in jail.

In ADDITION to saying that she would not protect the President, she knowingly violated the Hatch Act.  As such, she needs to be dismissed.

Secret Service agent who suggested she wouldn't take 'a bullet' for Trump expelled from group for retired agents
Washington Examiner, Jan 25, 2017, Susan Crabtree

The premier association for former U.S. Secret Service agents Wednesday expelled the special agent who suggested she wouldn't take "a bullet" to defend President Trump because she considered him "a disaster" for the country.

Kerry O'Grady, the agent in question who runs the Secret Service's Denver office, was an associate member of the association until Wednesday when the organization official rescinded her membership. The Association of Former Agents U.S. Secret Service, or AFAUSSS, also known as Old Star, cited comments O'Grady made on Facebook, first reported by the Washington Examiner.

In an emailed notice to all of its members on Wednesday, the organization said its Board of Directors had decided to expel O'Grady from its membership. The Board of Directors vote to expel her was unanimous, the email said.

"By 12:00N January 25, 2017, a motion was made by me and seconded and given to the Board of Directors to address the expulsion of Associate Member O'Grady …" Jan Gilhooly, president of AFAUSSS, wrote in the email sent to all members. "[O'Grady] engaged in conduct deemed by a majority of the Board to be detrimental to the Association of the U.S. Secret Service …"

IN most countries of the world, someone sworn to protect its leaders and admits he/she will not do so is not just subject to removal, but execution.

Anything other than execution for this individual is a modest sentence it seems.

NO, this a a direct violation of an oath and should be subject to imprisonment and/or charges of treason.

At the very least she needs to be relieved from her current post and given a desk job.  She is not fit to lead.

The Secret Service is investigating a senior agent who indicated on Facebook that she would rather go to jail than take a bullet for President Donald Trump.

The Washington Examiner first reported on the posts from special agent Kerry O’Grady, who is in charge of the Secret Service’s Denver district. In multiple posts leading up to the election, O’Grady made her disdain for Trump and support for Hillary Clinton ultra clear, possibly violating a provision of the Hatch Act which bans most federal employees from engaging in political activity.

Having personally known one of the Secret Service agents that had the misfortune of being assigned to the Hillary detail about ten years ago... THAT is where this agent belongs.

Knew a SS agent who was on 43's detail when I lived in FTW.  We serviced his Cannondale Carbon Fiber Lefty Scalpel for when he rode MTB's with GWB out on the Trails, and also when he did the Wounded Warrior rides in Texas.   I believe he said all the agents rotate out of protection duty after a set time.  If so, Don't know if this hag was ever even going to be near Trump after the election.
