The comedian — who was wearing a pink hat that said “I Stand with Planned Parenthood” — gave a firm no when she was asked if she would hypothetically ever have the first lady on her Netflix series.

“No,” Handler said during an interview with Variety. “Melania? To talk about what? She can barely speak English.”

When Handler was asked what she thinks of Melania, she said, “Exactly what I think about him [Donald Trump] as the first man. Nothing. I don’t respect either one of those people.”

Pretty common for Europeans to speak multiple languages. In fact its probably more common than monolinguistic Europeans. The proximity of different languages in Europe means lots of interaction.

Back in the early 90s I worked with an old Swiss guy who spoke at least 7 languages (He said 6 fluently) and he was just a factory worker. He spoke German, Italian, French, Portuguese, English, and Serbo-Croatian. Really a fun guy to work next to. He said he got the basic Swiss education and left home at 16 and landed his first job working for an Italian butcher. He started learning printing and book binding in Prague and that was the career that eventually led him to the USA where I met him working in the bindery. He was married to a Mexican woman.

I've only got one other nation in close proximity to me but I speak Canadian fluently.

I am a heterosexual woman but I still thinks Melania is a beautiful woman and am proud she is our first lady. She shows such class something lacking in the white house these last few years. She also seems to be very smart and know when to keep her mouth shut unlike the last first lady.
