Donald Trump will face some of the most hostile opposition to ever confront a new president, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The newspaper says Trump's critics are in combat mode as if the election campaign never ended. It notes demonstrations are planned and activists are calling for ongoing "resistance."

A Women's March in Washington is expected to bring more than 100,000 protestors to D.C a day after Trump is sworn-in.

Meanwhile, money is flowing into liberal causes. Planned Parenthood took in 315,000 donations in the months after Trump was elected — 70 percent came from new donors, according to the newspaper.

The American Civil Liberties Union recorded $35.3 million in post-election donations as of Jan. 4. That is up from $3.6 million over the same time period a year ago, the newspaper says.

I think we all saw this coming and IMHO this is where the GOP is making their mistake.  They won the White House and the majority in both Houses.  They need to be raising money to counter the backlash from the left.  I don't see this happening (yet).

I dunno, lb. It's going to take a lot more than that to overcome Trump's tweets. GOP needs to be working on what they promised. They do that, they'll have no worries in 2018 midterms.

Ah. A Republican is elected President and the Lamestream pulls this hackneyed old article out of the desk drawer, dusts it off and changes some names and of to the printers. Can anyone remember when a GOP'er was embraced with open arms when they took office? Reagan was hated by the Press and the Communists in Congress. They vandalized the WH before Bush took office. Same will happen to Donny and it won't matter.

BTW, I love how this "Million Loser March" is being touted as something significant. Last I heard the movement is a disaster because the black broads don't want to march with the privileged white broads.
