Cool. Maybe Trump can make more disparaging comments aimed towards the EPA, Depts of education, energy, interior, health and human services, etc etc etc.

My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

The terms of their employment with the CIA would put the kibosh on that; unless they would prefer spending a lot of time in the stony lonesome.

Yes...

...if they come back stateside.

But if they head overseas, well... I doubt that China or Russia would be very welcoming of our police agencies seeking to arrest them.  Edward Snowden already showed that.

And our current reaction to Snowden and Russia and Assange shows that the GOP is very happy with Americans with classified knowledge heading overseas to find work.

Which means that Congress and the President, at the current time, wouldn't really stop them... until they decide to change their mind on this issue.

Is Scooter gonna get an obama pardon?

Only if he's arrested as a drug dealer.

When my Bob was assigned to work in the pentagon with intelligence coming in, that included CIA agents/spies and their reports, he and a few others were offered CIA agent/spy assignments overseas.  That was because someone had outed our agents overseas and a number were killed.  I would never speak against our CIA agents and the more experience they have, the better their reports are and more likely they are to stay alive.  Put inexperienced agents overseas and it will be regretted and more will die.

Field agents are the least likely to quit in a huff.  It's much more likely to be the chairborne commandos in the back office.  And they're just as leftist-politicized as the rest of the Washington bureaucracy.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

The same is true for the entire federal government (except the military) if you ask me!  You could walk through and fire every third person and no one would notice.
