Cruz: Obama ‘rolled over’ on hacking

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) says he hopes the incoming Trump administration is tougher on dealing with cyberattacks than the "weakness" he saw from President Obama on hacking by Russia and other foreign adversaries.

“One of the reasons these cyberattacks are so prevalent is that Barack Obama and his administration have rolled over for eight years,” Cruz said Thursday on “The Mike Gallagher Show."

Sen. Ted Cruz said Thursday that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is a threat to the United States who has already hurt U.S. national security.
 
"Assange has done enormous damage to our national security," Cruz told radio host Hugh Hewitt. "I would not be praising him under any circumstances."

I'm not sure there was any hacking but there does seem to be a growing consensus that the Russians heavily propagandized the election.
