Hillary Clinton’s surprise defeat dealt a blow to hopes that the United States would elect a woman as president.

Yet there are plenty of other women in both parties who could be future candidates.

Here’s a look at nine.

(Of course, after Trump winning the presidency, I suppose anything is possible. Madam President Kardashian is more likely than Warren or Obama, though.)

How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.

Bit of a generalization, but the Republican women on the list seem to have held real-world jobs and accomplished something in their lives, while the Dems are pretty much like Warren.  :whistle:

I just scanned the list, but didn't see Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman, both of whom reached the top in business.

In states more favorable to Republican candidates both might have already been elected to offices.

Um, but what do you gentlemen think of Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir? If they could do it, wouldn't it be logical someday a woman can do it in the US?
