My wife's father grew up in Los Angeles' Italian American neighborhood along with the La Bianca family, and knew them.

The reaction of my wife, to Manson's death: He should have been dead, decades ago.

wiki quote from Bernadine Dohrn--wife of Obama's guru Bill Ayers--

"Bernardine Dohrn, a leader of the Weather Underground reportedly said about the Tate murders: "Dig it, first they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach. Wild!"[68]"

Della Reese dies at 86

Reese was a prominent gospel singer who crossed over into the mainstream with her early 1960s hit "Don't You Know." She also had an acting career as Tess, a guardian angel, on the long-running TV series Touched by an Angel.

Reese died following a long battle with diabetes.

Yep!  We need to stop executing vermin and start performing retroactive abortions on them instead!  THAT would be perfectly fine!

Merged Manson thread (although I had mixed emotions about putting that POS in with these good people.  It's good they're burying Manson in an unmarked grave in an undisclosed location).

I had no idea she was acting,but I do know she had a powerful voice.

She didn't die of diabetes. She died of being 86,weak,and worn out.

@MOD4

Might be better to bury him at a prominent public site. It's called "bait".

And have another Jim Morrison fiasco grave?  LOL.  Glad California did something right, for once.

She had that role on TV, and then there was this scene from the movie Harlem Nights:

I basically didn't watch tv from 1964 to around the mid-70's,so I missed most of that stuff.

Finally bought a tv in 76 or so to make my ex quit bitching. Worse mistake I ever made. I had no idea the crazy bitch was a fan of I Love Lucy,and was surprised to find out we were role-playing. She did fine as the dingbat,but I was a lousy "Ricky". Lucy even made my head hurt when I was in elementary school. No way was I going to continue living with her clone as an adult.

So you're trying to say, "Lucy, you still got some splainin' to do" . . . ;)

@EasyAce

Thankfullly,she has been doing all her "splan-in" to others for years now. Last time I talked with her she was having problems with husband number 6 (ok,she was smoking hot,and can still wear the same clothes she was wearing 40 years ago. She obviously has some sort of pact with de debbil.)

I told her to not worry about because I was certain it was all his fault,and walked away,leaving her looking a little confused. Ok,a little more confused than normal.

She is probably not as bad as I am making her out to be,but the sad,sad truth is she isn't very bright,and she LOVES drama. Living with her is like being in a live soap opera. I know. I tried 3 times before I had enough. There just ain't no living in peace with her.

My father had early onset dementia and died at 69. How sad for the Cassidy family to lose him to that horrible condition at only 67 years of age.

Yes, his father died young too, if I recall, but horribly

He was burnt to a crisp after a night a heavy drinking when a fire started in his home while he was passed out drunk.

I think he was smoking at the time, which is what caused the fire.  I really liked Jack.

I was a kid when I saw Jack doing guest stars on Columbo. He scared me.  Good actor.

I am really sorry to hear that.

FAR too young..........
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.
