Personally, I think is just a momentary blip. Consider the "plans" for a Convention of States that have been going on for years.
@Night Hides Not I would hope you're correct but we've been moving steadily left for decades. Most of this countries children don't have an understanding of what freedom is. Our education system has made sure they think the govt is the supreme power. There are a lot of the worlds powerful which view democracy as a problem and are working to wrest the power away from the people.
Consider Bernie Ecclestone who is the Chief Executive of Formula 1 racing. A big Putin supporter and a very well connected billionaire. He has stated publically "“I don’t think there’s any place for democracy, first of all.”"
and
On being a successful 'dictator': “I think, if you can get people to, more or less, fall in line with what you’re trying to do and support you, then it seems like democracy.”
and
On the USA: “I'm not very enthusiastic about America, so… The biggest problem with them is that they believe they're greatest sort of power in the world. And it’s difficult, because, they are a big island, so they are a bit isolated; they are slowly starting to learn what other people in the world do.”
and
"In a lot of ways, terrible to say this I suppose, but apart from the fact that Hitler got taken away and persuaded to do things that I have no idea whether he wanted to do or not, he was in the way that he could command a lot of people able to get things done." He went on to say Hitler wasn't a good dictator "In the end he got lost so he wasn't a very good dictator."
Now you may say who cares what this schmuck says, and thats a great question. This schmuck is someone who attends the Bilderberg meetings and is connected with the rich and powerful of the world. Those people like Soros who are pulling strings at the UN and in our Govt.
