Apology posted, but backlash continues for CAIR leader

A gloat posted online over the fact that 92 Russians were killed when their jetliner crashed into the Black Sea has turned sour for the Muslim activist who wrote it, with even his online apology drawing dozens of harsh reactions such as “gloating over a plane is just straight up evil and cruel.”
The post from Hussam Ayloush, the executive director of the southern California Council on American-Islamic Relations since 1998 and 2012 delegate to the Democratic National Convention, followed the recent air disaster.
The Russian jet, shortly after takeoff, crashed into the Black Sea, killing all 92 aboard. One of the craft’s black boxes was just recovered by investigators who have not determined what caused the tragedy.
