Too politically correct to respond to a talented presentation. Yes it is a stereotype. Those who
contributed have considerable talent. I do hope them success in their endeavors.
I did something personal for a black friend. To help him start over. The initial impact was only, I never
thought anyone would do such a thing.
I am not a wealthy man, but this man is a friend. I played on a sports team with him. He is a champion.
Years ago, I tutored him in a math class. He got his first math A.
My friend is bright, but so many took a wrong turn. I told him he should go from here and decide what is best.
As a very young man, Dad taught me prejudice. A mistake. Later in his life became a Jehovah Witness.
He welcomed everyone from the church into his home. I saw blacks at our dinner table. It was a long and successful journey for Dad. And now for me.
A Merry Christmas to all and especially to joyful Crimmus singers.
