I'm sure geronl is like most of us: we avoid political talk at parties and social events. Why mess up happy occasions with conversations that are going to anger people? That makes no sense to me, and I'd much rather talk about recent family events and reconnecting with friends.

Good gravy, some of you sound like a gaggle of liberals.
