NYT says Turkey’s Erdoğan may face disloyalty among security forces

One of the most prestigious newspapers in the United States, The New York Times, said in a news story on Tuesday that the killing of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov by a police officer in an Ankara art gallery on Monday suggests Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan may face a resilient disloyalty problem.

The story by Rick Gladstone published on Tuesday underlined regardless assassin police officer’s affiliation, political analysts believe the killing of Karlov in Turkey’s capital is a betrayal to Erdoğan’s glaring authority among the security forces that have pledged loyalty to him.
