Indeed. And it parallels the Feasts and harvests - The spring feasts were fufilled in the most fascinating incremental perfection. The barley harvest (Jewish believers) and the spring wheat harvest (Pentecost/Shavuot - early Christians from the gentile nations [Ephraim's return]).

But everyone knows the fall harvests (fruits, grapes, summer wheat) are the biggies. and with them, the Feasts of the real Return of the King, and of his coronation, and of his wedding, and of his judgement with the rod of iron between his feet.

Here it comes - to be fulfilled with every bit as much attention to detail as the last time.

Perry Stone goes into great detail with dozens and dozens of verses re the Rapture etc. etc. etc.

I think his treatment of the feasts is as good as any I've read.

God is so meticulous . . . when things are looked at closely.

imho.

LOLOL.

I'm still reading/listening to his

Prophecies Concealed, Now Revealed
.
https://www.amazon.com/Prophecies-Concealed-Revealed-Perry-Stone-ebook/dp/B01DJAEAKI/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1482389179&sr=1-5&keywords=perry+stone
.
He can be a bit intense in his youtube videos but I think his research is extremely meticulous and far more exhaustive and thorough than average.

Besides, he might be fined as a Pentecostal if he's insufficiently intense. LOL. [joke]

Am also listening to/reading THE BABYLON CODE. It's as exhaustively researched and great summary of a treatment of the globalist stuff through history as any I've read.

It really ties a lot of historical facts together explaining how we got to where we are geo-politically . . . and where we are headed.

Thanks for your kind replies.

I agree with both of you regarding the feast days and the fulfillment of the fall feasts is yet to come.  I don't think we have long to wait as the world is as it was in the days of Noah.

Well put.

One question I've had . . . about the Great Snatching Away . . .

is would it be just before, in the midst of or after say Ezek 38 war or some other predicted major conflict, trauma of the "birth pangs" period.

IIRC, some assertions in some of the links in the OP assert that it will be after. Plausible.

I just want the first "elevator !UP!"

Thanks for your kind reply.

Having a prophetic gifting is usually quite different from having been called and anointed to the OFFICE of a prophet. Both sorts of people can have valid prophetic pronouncements.

A calling and anointing as a prophet tends to be much more heavy-duty with tons of excruciating 'back side of the desert' purifying and training. And, their assigned tasks tend to be a lot more heavy duty--as a rule.

St Paul exhorted all Christians to seek a degree of prophetic gifting.

I'm . . . wary, allergic to considering myself a prophet, too. However, a number of folks have told me otherwise.

Peace--always.
I never like the idea of being stoned for being wrong. I just stick to 'Bible-thumper'.

Yeah. There are hazards aplenty, alright. LOL.

That's an interesting issue . . . Paul exhorted for the local body to discern, sift, assess such pronouncements for authenticity etc. & ignore, lay aside those not judged to be authentically from God. He didn't suggest stoning for being wrong. I don't find any such in the New Testament. I Cor 14, I think.

Certainly chronically wrong false prophets were to be rejected and avoided.

That's a whole complicated issue. Most folks just assume that the Old Testament standard and punishment still reigned. The NT doesn't say that.

Yes, a touch too dramatic for me... theatrical at times... But I like the intensity aside from all that - He chokes up on his passion, and I find that authentic - Ol Perry ain't reading it by rote, that much is sure. His belief is on his sleeve.

Ah yes - Paul McGuire - I meant to pick that up myself... I am tween things right now... I have told you before I am either pilot-light or fireworks-show... Right now it's pilot-light mode, waiting on the next spark from the ignitor.

I agree about Perry Stone and his passion. Sounds like he comes by it honestly with his Dad and Granddad's history.

Oh, man... You gotta catch Gary Wayne ( http://genesis6conspiracy.com/ ) his EIGHT-HUNDRED PAGE book is an highly annotated approach to genesis 6, tying together the nephilim, the seed of Cain, Atlantis, mythologies, the royal bloodlines (the fairy line and the dragon line), the whole Merovingian kings thing,  right on up to UFOs and Illuminati... Ties it all together with a big red bow. Highly referenced.

start here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmmfmCdqzbQ (1:17:11) He's all over YouTube... Especially the NowYouSeeTV stuff and the ones between him and David Carrico...

I don't dig all of it, but in the stuff I do in this genre (mythologies tied to occult and profane), his arguments are stunning and refreshing.

OK. Will see if they have it for Kindle.

You can read the Kindle book on your computer--downloading the ap for free from Amazon.

Let me know if that's a route you're willing to go.

OK, Downloading Wayne's book and have the link on youtube going. Sounds rather solid and thorough.

If you have a good bet on getting a Kindle, fine. If not, let me know. Am willing to use some of my tithe money for that. Might be one with ads on the opening flash screen, though. I assume you have a wifi in your computer setup.

Do you have any EMP protection boxes or metalic envelopes suitable for a Kindle? Then there's the issue of a solar charger. Probably can't do those this chunk of income but maybe down the road.

I was inferring that it is probable that McGuire's book will be given to me over the holidays, and most probably by my brother. We had a discussion over a YouTube vid featuring McGuire, and he knows I want the book - Since I am notoriously hard to buy for, it is a likely option for him.

Actually I don't know how I want electronic text. My research lib, Bibles, and associated stuff, have mostly been converted to WinPC documents and databases... Logos software, e-Sword software, and etc. And I like it for research, for the wide screen on PC, and the ability to have multiple systems up at the same time, bouncing back and forth fro say, an e-Sword bible, and an internet reference in a browser...

and I have a couple books in my 'droid tablet - It's alright for reading, excellent even, with adjustable fonts and such - but it sucks to try and bounce back and forth within a book (like you would in a real book), and it is awkward for referring quotes... If I want to quote something from it, I have to paste it into an email and send it to myself so I can pick the quote up on a PC..

I am still trying to qualify a hardy electronic method.

And to make matters worse (well, no, actually better) my eyes are much better - I can actually read real pages now, sometimes even without glasses! And I will always like reading from a book best of all.

Precisely so. not 'just' the laws of Messiah, not 'only' the laws of Moses... the very laws of creation are being broken with abandon. It cannot be justified, nor sustained.

The Bible I use:

I am teaching English pronunciation to a Spanish Priest at our church.  He and I discussed Bibles and due to his expertise about Bibles, I am now using the New Jerusalem Bible, study edition.  I also have the New Jerusalem Bible, standard edition, without all the study material.  I take the standard edition to church and use the big, heavy, study one at home.

The New Jerusalem Bible and the original Jerusalem Bible (their wording is the same),  is the only one translated directly from the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic of the original documents.  All other Bibles are translated from the French which was translated from the original documents.  The words in the Jerusalem Bibles are simple making the meaning of the passage also simple.  It was the English and Americans who put in flowery English words in other Bibles that were translated from the French, that can and do, confuse the meaning of some scripture (actually a lot/most of it, in my opinion as I have compared them).

Now, I don't want to fight over the different Bibles - to each his own - I have chosen the Jerusalem Bible for the above reasons.

I was astounded at the difference in the words and how simple it is to understand the  meaning of the direct translation words.

@Victoria33

I stick pretty hard to KJV, primarily because of the massive interaction of the Strong's Concordance, and because the errors and arguments in the translation are well known... I am a student of ancient history, and quite comfortable in 'flowery' old English - Comfortable even in a 1611 or Tyndale...

But as for study, I am almost entirely electronic nowadays - If you haven't an electronic Bible software, might I recommend e-Sword http://www.e-sword.net/ ? It is completely free (or donation based)... With many free Bibles, concordances, commentaries, dictionaries, and etc... Tremendously helpful to have side-by-side comparisons of several Bibles in places where there is contention or confusion.

Likewise for searching out a particular verse - I am not a verse slinger, and I am certainly bad at memorization.... But I know what's in there! Now I can find it with nothing but a phrase or even a word... Incredibly helpful.

Note that they are not all free - some of the Bible translations cost money (NIV as an example), but there are TONS to get you started.

Amen. And the bit about all the other translations being translated from the French is not true about the more recent translations. All of the better modern translations the last decade or 3 have been also from the Hebrew and Greek--some with consulting the Aramaic.

I certainly like comparing lots of translations on a particular verse, passage.

Most translations use committees as the way to get the task done. Committees are not always the best routes to truth. However, the better translations also include alternate plausible meanings in many cases.

Yes, I think she meant Latin, but I got her gist.
The King Jimmy comes right out of the Masoretic Hebrew and Textus Receptus Greek... It isn't right to say it wasn't compared to other things too, possibly derived from Latin texts (Tyndale, Geneva, Luther, etc), but it's basis is in the 'originals'.

The Aramaic Targums are a lesson in themselves, btw...

@Victoria33

Pardon, you had said most translations were taken from French into English:

Quote
The New Jerusalem Bible and the original Jerusalem Bible (their wording is the same),  is the only one translated directly from the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic of the original documents.  All other Bibles are translated from the French which was translated from the original documents.

... I said I thought you meant Latin... A good portion of translations were translated from Latin into English instead of direct from the original languages. I don't know of any translated from French.

But as @Quix commented, most Protestant Bibles derive from the Textus Receptus (Antiochan) family for the Greek, and Masoretic text family for the Hebrew... So your comment was incorrect in any event.

Don't get me wrong... Very happy that you have a translation from the original languages!
