Denzel Washington: 'Making a Movie is a Luxury;' ‘Send Your Son to Iraq. That’s Difficult.’
During a recent Academy Awards-themed roundtable hosted by The Hollywood Reporter [1], Denzel Washington was asked about his “first and worst job.”
He talked about being a garbage man and a post office employee. Then he ridiculed the idea that filmmaking is “difficult,” calling it a “gift” and luxury” compared to people who have to send loved ones into combat.
