Report: FBI Director Comey tells Trump there’s no evidence Russians swayed election

The FBI recently said the Russian electoral influence was pure poppycock.

There’s no credible evidence to support the CIA’s claims that Russia influenced the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, FBI Director James Comey reportedly told President-elect Donald Trump in a telephone conversation.
 
Sources who were briefed on the telephone conversation revealed that Comey’s assessment was supported by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Townhall reported.

CIA Director John Brennan was the only person of authority in the intelligence community to assert that Russian sanctioned hacking influenced the election.

Why do you automatically believe someone whose organizational mission. Is focused domestically and not against foreign threats.

From what I've been reading they all agree that there was Russian meddling but they don't agree about what Russia was up to.

I personally think the Russian goal was more likely to be targeting the primary races. I and many others were complaining loudly about the Russian trolls during the primaries. Now there is a new rush of them attacking anyone who suggests Russian meddling.

Just yesterday I went a couple rounds with one on twitter before doing a Tineye.com picture search and traced "her" avatar pic back to a Russian porn site.
