IBM announces intent to hire another 25,000 US workers ahead of Trump meeting with tech bosses

Call it what you want but American workers keep winning and winning and winning even before the president-elect has taken the office.

The most recent win came when IBM announced on Tuesday, a day before meeting with Donald Trump, that it will hire 25,000 more workers in the United States over the next four years, the company’s CEO Ginni Rometty wrote in an op-ed for USA Today.

“At IBM alone, we have thousands of open positions at any given moment, and we intend to hire about 25,000 professionals in the next four years in the United States, 6,000 of those in 2017,” she wrote. “IBM will also invest $1 billion in training and development of our U.S. employees in the next four years.”

I didn't know IBM was still in business.

Sounds like this is just normal turnover for them.
