Eyeing climate role, Ivanka Trump to meet with Al Gore

Ivanka Trump is meeting Monday with climate change activist and former Vice President Al Gore.

The president-elect's daughter, who reportedly wants to make global warming one of her signature issues, will meet with Gore at Trump Tower in Manhattan, according to transition spokesman Jason Miller.

The former vice president will not be meeting with the president-elect, Miller said in a conference call with reporters on Monday morning.

He would not elaborate on the contents of the meeting.

This was my biggest fear with Trump and why I chose not to support him (a choice made easier since my state has become deep, deep blue over the years).  Once a liberal, always a liberal.  My worries about him walking back or even reversing his stands on some of the issues he campaigned on are being proven valid concerns almost every day.  Hopefully he slows his slide to the left, but there are many things that I've seen over the past few weeks that have me quite worried.

I said Trump would install a family dynasty.  Ivanka and her husband are the government with Trump as the head, just like the family runs his company with him as the head.

Why does the 1st Daughter need to have any "signature issues".


And I thought her father was turning over the family business to her and her brothers to run while he is on office. That and running her own business I would think should keep her plenty busy.

Did any of you realize that we elected Ivanka?  Just wait she is going to be overriding every single cabinet appointment.  Trump doesn't think for himself.  He lets Ivanka do it.

But we will see how much influence she has with Trump

Anyone watch Winter Olympics Rio de Janeiro?  Remember how they held the KYOTO summit there and developing nations would be exempt?  Well it was widely reported how thoroughly polluted the coast was that they had trouble with water sports.  Sewage and garbage.

It was no wonder they pushed that. It was the Global World agenda to take our jobs and make politicians filthy rich.  India is a cesspool off the coast as well.



And people like Gore are worried that here in America a cow farts.

My first thought as well.

There are plenty of ways for a wealthy man to make money off the carbon scam.

One example is republican Dick Lugar who was the first republican senator listed on the Chicago carbon exchange. Lugar farms was listed for "carbon sequestration". (He was getting paid for letting the land lie fallow)
