Reid will get A-list sendoff from Clinton, Biden and McConnell

It takes a singular figure to bring together Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. But the high-wattage cast of characters will gather together on Thursday to honor retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid.

The Nevada Democrat, never a fan of Washington social occasions or small talk, will be celebrated all day on Thursday by his Democratic colleagues — and even a few Republicans. He will give his farewell speech on Thursday morning and most of his 45 colleagues in the Democratic Caucus are expected to take their seats on the Senate floor for his send off.
