Somali community fears backlash after Ohio State attack
Attack at Ohio State
Members of the Ibnu Taymaya Masjid Mosque and Islamic Center attend noon prayers on Tuesday at the Northeast Side center.
“It’s not our fault.”
That was Hassan Omar’s message Tuesday about the attack Monday morning by Somali-born Abdul Razak Ali Artan at Ohio State University.
Omar is executive director of the Somali Community Association of Ohio. He and other central Ohio Somalis found themselves in the difficult position of trying to answer questions about a man with the same heritage who carried out the attack.

The question is: is this an aberration or a pattern? If it's a pattern, then, yes, the community bears some of the blame.

They should have a backlash.
I have stated for years that Westerners are unable to stop terrorism at its root non-violently.
Only the Muslims can do this by identifying the threat internally and taking action.
Permissiveness within the Muslim community by not acting such is ipso facto declaration of support for the terrorists.
Absent that, the only way Westerners can stop terrorism is by force. This will involve punitive measures against these silent Muslims.

As of today, how many Somalis have been murdered in revenge?
