Pelosi slams challenger's 'almost pathetic' attack

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday blasted Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) for her challenger's "almost pathetic" accusation that she wants more power.
Pelosi told the Huffington Post that Ryan's claim that her reforms "will only serve to further consolidate her power over the Caucus” are "completely not true."
“It’s so completely not true that it’s almost pathetic,” she said. “It’s not what it is.”
Ryan challenged Pelosi for the House Democratic leadership position after the party failed to take control of Congress or the White House on Nov. 8.
