Three California mosques receive letters threatening Muslims

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A civil rights group has called for more police protection of mosques after several in California received letters that praised President-elect Donald Trump and threatened Muslim genocide.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, said the same handwritten, photocopied letter was sent last week to the Islamic Center of Long Beach, the Islamic Center of Claremont and the Evergreen Islamic Center in San Jose, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

The letter was addressed to “the children of Satan” and it was signed by “American for A Better Way.” The L.A. area mosques received it Wednesday and the San Jose mosque on Thursday....

Interesting the repeated reference to dogs.  Generally, Americans like dogs.  I mean, who doesn't?

The first part of it reads word for word what Muslims say about Jews everyday. "Your mother and your father are dogs." This is exactly verbatim what Muslims say about their enemies. Not a very common thing for 'a patriotic American' to say. He might call them a SOB, but that would be about as far as dogs would get into the insulting game.


I don't think a red-neck would leave a note. To what end? He might burn the place down, but leaving a note doesn't really solve the problem from a red-neck perspective.


It is just the Muslims playing the victim again. Nothing more than that.

I thought earlier, it might not be a Muslim and may not be a "white", leaving a 3rd possibility. JDL has offices in California. So, this could be about anyone at this point.  And the old West references could be possible by about anyone as well too.

In Islam dogs are 'unclean' animals. So saying that 'your mother and father are dogs' is more meaningful in Islam than in America at large.
