Absolutely true. Bibi however is a smart guy and Huck isn't. So effectively, when either needs anything of substance done with America, Bibi/Trump pay lip service to Huckster and dial direct. Huckabee is effectively cannon fodder and his supporters don't seem to realize that Trump took him out of any position of influence at all.

Huckabee could be a good choice. An ambassador is much a figurehead and should be, especially in the case of Israel, friendly to the host nation. The embassy staff does the real work.

Edit: looks like Huckabee has disclaimed the rumor.

The MSM continues to jump to conclusions about people Trump is meeting with.  IMHO Trump isn't allowing the media in on what's going on.  When Trump announces who he has selected, then we'll know.
