Jurgen Klinsmann Fired as U.S. Soccer Coach

By SAM BORDENNOV. 21, 2016

Jurgen Klinsmann, a World Cup-winning striker who found mixed results after moving into coaching, was fired as head coach of the United States national men’s soccer team Monday, less than a week after a humiliating defeat in Costa Rica that damaged the American team’s chances of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.
