Giuliani could face conflicts of interest as Secretary of State

Trump's likely pick for Secretary of State, Rudy Giuliani, faces a potential conflict of interest should he be appointed to the position, since the former New York mayor has been paid for consulting foreign governments.
After serving as mayor, Giuliani collected millions as a lawyer working for foreign governments including Qatar and Venezuela, as well as Iranian exiles. He made paid speeches to help an exiled Iranian political party be removed from terror lists and also advised a group with ties to the Keystone XL pipeline.
Giuliani is also reported to have worked for Saudi oil companies, pharmaceutical companies and energy companies. While Giuliani never personally registered as a lobbyist, many of his subsidiaries did just that under his name.
