Sen. Al Franken (D., Minn.) blamed Republicans for the major premiums hikes under Obamacare set to hit next year while speaking with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday.

Tapper told Franken a story about a Minnesota relative of his who voted for President Obama four years ago but cast his ballot for President-elect Donald Trump in the 2016 election due to skyrocketing Obamacare premiums.

I read the article wondering what Franken would possibly offer as a reason for his suggestion on where to lay the blame.

He didn't offer one.

Don't laugh.

He really believes this and I know others personally who do, also. Sure, people roll their eyes at them or laugh. But why let facts get in the way of a good narrative

The fool has a point. If Repubs in Congress and Roberts in the Supreme Court had done their job, we would not have allowed Obamacare to pass in the first place.

A very legitimate case can be made that Franken cast the final vote, after winning office by fraud.  He carries the blame.  Period.  Liberals never want to own up to the consequences of their policies, they simply continue to dream that they can achieve utopia, if only they could steal "just a little more liberty from the herd of cattle that they rule!"

As far as I am concerned, Franken should be .......never mind.  I will bite my tongue.
