This time it will. Have you seen Chelsea out and about? She is a genuinely stupid person with a very undynamic personality. There is a reason why NBC never has her on anymore even though she is under contract with them. She is just awful.

Sounds like she meets all the qualifications to run as a Democrat.

Seriously, she has the right to run. So do I if I ever decide, so does anyone else that is here. It's getting elected is a whole different story. Anyone can run. Technically, I can run a dog or cat for office. It's been done before.

I've thought about running for assembly in the past, but decided against it.

In certain Congressional districts in NY state, the election itself is a mere formality.

Whoever gets nominated by the democrats, will win by default.
The real fight is for the democratic nomination.

Hopefully, someone else (perhaps with better political credentials and smarts) will challenge chelsea for the spot.

Otherwise, if the democrats want her, she may very well be a shoo-in.
That's how her mother got to be "Senator from New York", after all.

Yeah, I know. I've seen pictures of her that would scare a cat, and make babies cry. See really was extremely ugly.


Funny thing is, I did a google image search to try to find some of those pictures which I know exist, and which I have seen before, and I could not find a single one. I suspect he 'ugly' pictures have been scrubbed. All I know is that I couldn't find any before surgery pictures of her on the net.

I know exactly what you mean. But I have to say, I'm just not so sure.
I think the 'Clinton' brand is spent. More than spent, it has a negative taste to it.
Everybody, I know, is suffering from Clinton-fatigue and they are ready to get the whole Clinton thing behind them.


I can just picture a big sigh when Chelsea shows up, and everyone involved says in unison, 'Oh crap. Here we go again.'


Beside that, Chelsea as a Congresswoman would be just an ornament. No one would expect her to 'do' anything because we all know that she is there, not to do anything, but simply to go to the next step. Some of the districts have real actual issues that need to be handled. They need a real congressman to handle real issues and to get real things done. They do not have the time to coddle a figurehead.


She may get away with it. Though I don't think it will be a cake-walk for her.

Indeed.  Her only attraction was her parents' power ... and now Hillary is seen as the destroyer of the party (she's not -- she's just a particularly pustulent symptom), and both her parents are understood to be utterly corrupt.

And as you point out, she has no redeeming qualities of her own that can overcome those handicaps.

Let's not forget the large number of their fellow Dims that Bubba and Bubbette! have intimidated and stabbed in the back as they bit and clawed their way to the top of the Dim political dung heap. They all remained silent before because the Clint-Rois had the power AND the inclination to hurt anyone that stepped out of line,but they no longer have that power,and as a wise man once noted,"Payback can be a BITCH!"

I have no doubt they can buy Howdy Doody a safe congressional seat. I have my doubts about the Dims still in power allowing ANYBODY named Clinton access to the reigns of power again,though. Howdy can probably keep that seat as long as she wants it,but she ain't NEVER going to chair any important committees,and if she ever gets on a tv panel it will be because her parents bribed the show's producers to get her on.

Her only future advancement may be to the US Senate once a safe Senate seat opens,but even then she won't have any power that isn't local.

Let's put it this way. If YOU were a prominent Dim politician or dreamed of becoming one,and it were in YOUR power to either advance or hinder the political aspirations of the child of Bubbe and Bubbette!,which would YOU do?

Really? I didn't know she had surgery. I kind of noticed a small change her appearance for the better but I thought it was lighting and good makeup. Hmm, learn something new everyday.

Actually I think Bubba does shoot blanks. IIRC,he has some sort of childhood fever that leaves a lot/many/all? males that get it sterile.

Still,there is no doubt in my mind that Chesea is the only person or creature on Earth that he loves as much as he loves himself.

Can't say the same about Bubbette!,though. She would cook Chesea in a big pot of chili if she thought it would help gain her some power or wealth. The woman has ZERO redeeming qualities.

I remember back during the impeachment proceedings, the only time Clinton showed outright rage was when Chelsea was attacked by some goombah in the paper.
