Mexican leader: Trump has agreed to meet

President-elect Donald Trump has agreed to meet with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto before he takes office, the Mexican leader said Wednesday.
The two will reportedly discuss security issues when they meet as part of a new work agenda, Nieto said, according to Reuters.
Nieto said the pair had a "cordial, friendly and respectful" phone conversation, according to the AFP.
Nieto earlier Wednesday congratulated Trump on Twitter after the businessman defeated White House rival Hillary Clinton. The Mexican leader vowed to continue working with the U.S. on a bilateral basis.
Trump and Nieto previously met in August in Mexico, a meeting that sparked criticism toward Nieto in Mexico given the Republican presidential candidate's comments on Mexican immigrants.
The billionaire later claimed the two did not discuss the border wall that was a focal point of Trump's campaign, which he has repeatedly said Mexico will pay for.
Nieto claimed at the time that he told Trump Mexico would not pay for the wall.
