Guys,I am tempted to cut her some slack. It ain't like she married into a political family to gain political power through marriage. She is a draftee,not a volunteer. Her husband is running,so she has no choice but to back him up. Chances are someone in the campaign looked around for a "good" cause for her to support,and picked bullying because it would be popular with women voters.

She married Trump,so good or bad,she is along for the ride.

I know many here disagree with me but don't attack the wife and family of any candidate. If the candidates stuck to the issues and all the extraneous gossipy stuff about looks, families ect was left to the tabloids IMO the country would be better off, but what do I know...

I don't see her gardening either, nor do I see her doing much of anything as a First Lady; I think she will be very removed from the political scene.  This speech that she gave came across as 'this is what they told me I needed to say, so, I'm saying it'.

Except for Bubbette!,that is. No,we didn't elect her,but she damn sure did more than just come along for the ride,and broke a TON of laws while doing so.

I was maybe 8-10 years old and didn't actually know what it was I liked,but I damn sure knew I liked it.

Just like a woman with a New Yawk accent is like a bucket of cold water no matter how attractive she is. I can't even begin to imagine what a nightmare it would be to marry a woman with an accent like that and have to spend the rest of my life listening to it.

Mrs. tRump has done absolutely nothing to harm this country, unlike Bill Clinton.  She has never held, nor sought to hold, public office.  As far as I know, she's not responsible for the deaths of American Citizens either.

She is seeking to be the First Lady.  So a certain amount of consideration as to whether she would be loyal to this country, whether she would be a good and fit role model, and whether she would bring pride or embarrassment as our representative around the world for the sort of visits and dinners and things a First Lady participates in is absolutely fair.  Just as it is fair for you to assess Bill Clinton.  She is not off limits just because men like to keep her photo under their mattresses (and apparently lesbians as well) or because she stands very statuesque in zillion dollar clothing.  Other things matter.

She would bring more pride than having Chester the Molester Clinton as first whatever.  Nothing Mrs. tRump has done can compare in embarassment to what Billy Boy has done.

I'm pretty sure she's more loyal to this country than either of the Clintons.  She seems to be a decent human being who may have made some choices in her past that you and I may not have done but she has done nothing that has harmed me, you or this country.

I don't think anybody's hatin' on her really.  As long as she stands by her man with an adoring look, she's off limits.  Well, sort of off limits.  Trump himself put her out there when he posted that disgusting picture comparing her favorably to Heidi Cruz.  Heidi is actually more attractive in my opinion.

But when she starts making speeches, particularly really laughable speeches about not being mean to each other when she is married to one of the meanest men on earth... she's fair game.

You are entitled to your opinion on the matter.  For me, posing for porn pictures is one of those character stamping things somewhat like Hastert and his background.  Except Hastert was sorry.  I'm not saying EXACTLY.  I'm just saying the fact that Hastert no longer did that immoral thing didn't really help make him acceptable had anyone known of his past.  Her actions were not that -- not saying that -- but her acts to make money for herself did and still does feed a very detrimental mentality of viewing women as mere objects for sex (again, both hetero and homo in her case).  Yes I do have a problem with that.  If she were regretful, that would be different.  Even then, trotting out our porn queen around the world in Muslim countries and such is not really a great idea.  IMO.  I'm also entitled to my opinion.

I don't recall saying you weren't entitled to your opinion.  Hastert used his power to abuse children.  Mrs. tRump did not, nor does she have the power, to have people look at her any way they want to.   In other words, she didn't make anyone look at pictures of her, that's on them.  Besides I have seen some of her pictures and while it's not something I would have done, it's not illegal and nothing I have seen looks like porn to me.

I seriously doubt there's a person in this world who hasn't done something that they wish they hadn't done.  Unlike the Clintons, she seems to have matured past it and I say good for her.

So who is to blame, a prostitute or her "John"?  I say she is just as guilty as those who use her porn.  But whatever.  I realize in 2016 everyone seems to accept porn as some sort of non harmful thing.  I am old school.  I think it is very harmful to society as a whole and I do not respect those who pose for it or those who consume it.  I'm right about this.  But like abortion, at this point, so many people participate that there is no longer a general belief that there is anything wrong with it.  Too many people would have to deal with the problems in their own thought lives and personal habits if they were to allow their conscience to look at it rightly.  I get it.
