Bucking the free-speech zone trend, Kansas State University is telling students they are legally permitted to demonstrate or protest anywhere they want for any cause they want.
While other schools seek to relegate controversial speech to far-off corners of campus, the K-State Office of General Counsel observes that every inch of a public college campus is subject to the First Amendment.
