But just because it’s been a weird year, that doesn’t mean it has to end badly. There’s reason to hope. Consider independent write-in candidate for president Evan McMullin. He has virtually no chance of winning the election on November 8, but he does have a shot at being chosen as our next president. It’s a long shot. Very long.
