Better yet....burn your own jazz cds and listen to them. Especially when your city no longer HAS a good jazz station. Houston and Dallas used to have the very best smooth jazz stations in the nation. Owned, I believe, by CBS. They both went away and now there's only hiphop and pop, pretty much, to listen to.
It's an insidious, vast, left-wing consipiracy and plot, I tell ya!!!
Oh, goodness. This reminds me back when I was a kid, we used to have a jazz station in town, WBFO out of Buffalo. They played NPR during the day and jazz at night. Well, back in 2012, they decided to get rid of the jazz and go all-NPR. (They'd already pushed the NPR later into the night a few years before.)
Fortunately, every once in a while, I can still pick up the jazz station out of Toronto. Plus, there's the Internet.
