I was really really into the space program growing up.  Love it.   But this information came from a google search.

I actually get really sad going over to the Kennedy Space Center now.   It all looks great until you realize this was stuff we did as long as 50 years ago.   We celebrate when SpaceX does something and forget those same things were done decades ago by other engineers.

We should be on mars by now.  Maybe we could meet some martians.

Actually, I'm rather hostile about the shuttle program. I  deplore using the lives of those astronauts for a smoke screen with technology so extremely complex and risky when we had far better, far safer, far more flexible craft that had been flying for quite some time.

I love the spin-off's for the culture and industry . . . but those were not inherently tied to the shuttle.

The sighting was in the shuttle cargo bay, not the ISS, the statement was that he was involved with the ISS along with other projects.

You are CERTAINLY far more of a shuttle expert than I ever wanted to be in my wildest dreams.

I'm not sure therefore what but I readily concede that!

Don't forget the X-37B program. (USAF), even though it may not have anything to do with the sighting of a humanoid in the shuttle cargo bay on a monitor.

This configuration would give the appearance of a much more conventional launch than a manned shuttle.

That assumes the shuttle launch was from Canaveral or Vandenberg.

I will say over the past 30-40 days I have had to reset my modem 3 or 4 times to regain wireless signal.  It has been annoying since my Media panel with the router/modem is in another part of the house.
