I'm not that interested in arguing for the realities of the phenomena.

THAT issue is extremely passe, for me.

The evidence, to me, is soooooooooooooo EXTENSIVE as to no longer be very rationally logical for anyone that's done sufficient research into it.

I know, I've read all the blather against it.

And Carl Sagan's 'extraordinary claims require extra ordinary evidence' claim doesn't cut it with me--particularly after the documentation that he was a paid shill who KNEW the realities of the critters and the craft as a paid government disinformation agent.

So, for those who feel compelled to take the stance of the skeptic--help yourself. I may or may not bother responding.

I'm greatly more interested in discussing the implications of the basic outline of the facts  as are evident in the literature I've mentioned as well as quality stuff I haven't mentioned.

I'm also, frankly, not that interested in providing a lot of documentation links for my assertions.

Most of my assertions can be tracked down with due diligence.

The two books I've mentioned by Tom DeLonge and particularly the one by William Tompkins have some new stuff worth discussing. And, they touch on some stuff long known in the literature.

The Pope's pronouncements are readily available and I may dig up the links for the Vatican stuff.

I'd be particularly interested in faithful Roman Catholics discussing such pronouncements from their perspectives.

The universe is 14 billion years old.
The milky way is 13.2 billion years old.
The earth is 4.5 billion years old.

Our recorded history is about 5000 years old with most of the scientific advancement taking place in the last couple hundred years.   Numerous human civilizations have risen and fallen in that 5000 years.   Its possible/probable other human civilizations existed before 5000 years ago but we can't really prove it.

So considering the time it takes a civilization to rise and to fall, something which is probably consistent with any intelligent species, what are the chances of an alien race finding us at this time out of the last billion or so years.  Why would they care to come here and study our aircraft, probe our anuses, or slaughter our cows?

Considering there really is no incentive to come here.  Resources are available in a myriad of other places.  We're relatively far from other systems and we're probably lousy neighbors since we shoot at anything we dont understand.

Scientists Dr J. Alan Hynek and Dr Jacques Vallee

have documented extensive quality research and involvement with the topic. Hynek was a government bloke involved in it all way back when . . .

BOTH have asserted that the critters are not from distant planets but are evil spiritual entities from an evil spiritual dimension.

THAT is consistent with the exhaustive research of researchers like:

--Tom Horn & Cris Putnam--their extremely exhaustive research collected very rare documents from antiquity . . . including some long not seen from the Vatican archives.

--L.A. Marzulli--of the WATCHER series

--Guy Malone--experiencer and minister helping folks overcome their abduction experiences as well as teaching folks how to prevent them.

Don't take this wrong it isn't meant to be an insult but... did you ever consider the possibility that you are being used as an unwilling tool by the government to spread these stories. I'm sure you've heard of the 'mirage men' from recently leaked documents that were meant to spread these alien stories to cover up or deflect from top-secret testing programs.

They looked for people who were susceptible (but often of high intelligence because they could rationalize conflicting evidence away) but also had a bit of influence (writers, professors, even librarians) to spread the stories.

They planted stories with these people, made sure they had confirming evidence (ie, 'friends' who knew friends who saw something...) made sure they happened upon the right books or (in the modern times, websites) and made sure the stories spread enough to deflect from the real secret weapon's testing going on.

This isn't just some late night conspiracy show stuff. Wikileaks leaked British intelligence documents outlining exactly this strategy. They had people on the hook spreading these stories for decades.

I know you are a true believer, but have you ever weighed the probability factor of this versus your current belief mode?

Yes. I've been backwards and forwards over those assertions, hypotheses, leaks.

They remain mostly unconvincing.

They certainly do NOT explain as broad a range of factoids, data points in the field as other more complex explanations do.

I think your research and your logic could stand some tweaking.

Quality analysis of the root words in the Biblical narrative indicate evidently fallen angel critters manifesting as bi-pedal reptoid entities.

As to evolution/abiogenesis or whatever term is currently extant, even a surprising chunk of the lifelong atheist/agnostic scientists in view of the evidence the last 10+ years are tossing out that farce . . . some in favor of the not that more brilliant explanation of panspermia . . . but certainly the script calls for the critters to explain our existence as created by THEM. Certainly they don't want Almighty God Yehovah to retain ANY credit. LOL.

I've seen the shuttle launch from the Cape, from 10 miles away and from 128 miles away.    They are kinda hard to hide.  Not to mention the location of each shuttle was not a secret.  They didn't spend much time at Vandenberg that I am aware of.

There were EVIDENTLY not that many launches from Vandenberg. There were assertions as to their classification, as well.

Yes, they had 'secret' launches but they weren't the shuttle.  They were the smaller rockets which could not be confused with a shuttle except by a drunk politician.

So I'd say its safe to assume there were no secret launches of any space shuttle.

From what I can find there were no shuttle launches from Vandenberg.   They had originally planned to launch several from there but due to the first shuttle accident those plans were scrapped.   Also, apparently there was concern that the acoustic properties of that location posed a significant risk of destroying the shuttle during a launch, simply from the sound energy hitting the vehicle during launch.

I was really really into the space program growing up.  Love it.   But this information came from a google search.

I actually get really sad going over to the Kennedy Space Center now.   It all looks great until you realize this was stuff we did as long as 50 years ago.   We celebrate when SpaceX does something and forget those same things were done decades ago by other engineers.

We should be on mars by now.  Maybe we could meet some martians.
