It is beyond belief that the GOP would have as its nominee a man who has refused to unconditionally accept one of the core fundamentals that made America great: the peaceful transfer of political power. By that one statement last night Trump proved that he has no intention of making America great again, he only intends to aggrandize his own ego at the expense of the entire country.
If the GOP does not get rid of Trump now it will be stained for years and years with his anti-American legacy. Losing the election for lack of a nominee is better than losing the election because you have an anti-American nominee; the one certainty is that the election is lost.
To that end, I urge everyone here who cares about this country, about its traditions, about its moral fiber, to contact national and local GOP leaders to demand that the GOP formally remove Trump as the party's nominee. You should also contact all of your republican representatives and demand that they denounce Trump and put pressure on the GOP to do the right thing and formally remove Trump as the party's nominee.
This is the GOP's one last chance to show that it is a legitimate political organization that puts country before personality.
Please do the right thing.
