Corrupt, socialist unions are always a laugh riot. To some people, anyway.

This kind of garbage is what makes me want to see the Donald elected.  I detest these people.

It's funny, it's topical and it is free speech. I don't think it is "garbage" unless they start breaking laws or really trying to blockade the place instead of putting on a show.

Trump should come out of his hotel, head over to the taco trucks, buy 5-6 tacos from every truck, and give them away to the people on the street and the media. Especially the media. Turn this into a big (positive) media event.

Cuando la vida te da limones, haz limonada.

That would be a superb idea, on the same level as the democrats fundraising to fix the bombed GOP offices in NC.

Kinda goes hand in hand why you are a Trump supporter.
First time anyone has called me a tRump supporter.  This is the kind of crap that ticks me off.  If I don't 100% agree with tRumpkins, than I'm a Hillary supporter.  If I don't 100% criticize the Donald, than I'm a tRump supporter.

Once again, I'm not against the Donald because he claims he wants to "build a wall" or keep certain people out of the country.  I am against him because of his and his supporters behavior during this entire election process.  That and I think they are both nuts.  Now I'm beginning to wonder if certain NevertRumpers are nuts also. **nononono*

So you oppose the idea that the First Amendment is for everyone?

How totalitarian, National Socialist Party of you!
Last I checked we also have the First Amendment right to criticize them.

You couldn't pay me to eat food from one of these Taco trucks.

Bump to the truth!

Food trucks are independently owned and operated enterprises. Normally a one, or at most, two person operation. Not a lot of room in there.

BUT it is a taco truck, so you and the rest immediately jumped to some weird taco truck union made up of illegal aliens.

These people are small, licensed business owners. The very soul of small, independent entrepreneurship, so why should they be demonized for exercising their rights to peacebly assemble and voice their political opinions as protected by the US Constitution?

Because they're doing it in opposition to the Great Leader?

How Stalinesque.

Who are the 'these' you refer to?  Taco trucker workers, customers of taco trucks, Trump employees, or guests staying at the Trump properties?

And why?

I said nothing about silencing them. That thought is yours and yours only.

I don't applaud the activities of corrupt, socialist unions. You did.

Your mentality on display. This is how you think. Just you.

My mentality?

Let me ask you something.

You described them as "corrupt socialist unions".

Based on what exactly?

From the first paragraph. The first paragraph!: "...the Culinary Workers Union is protesting GOP nominee Donald Trump on his own turf..."

Food trucks are NOT manned by Unions.

Why don't you try actually learning something about the world outside?

It is obvious they are supporters of the Beast, so to me they are garbage.  If they are doing it in support of illegal immigration than I detest them. I also detest unions of any kind.  Just because I don't like the Donald and his supporters, does not mean I have any use for the Beast and her union thugs.

They can do whatever they want legally and I can still call it garbage.  If they were doing it against someone you supported, I have know doubt you'd be agreeing with me

I know the feeling ... I was called a Trump supporter yesterday.  I actually found it quite comical really and those that know me got a good chuckle.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

That would appear to be the case:

"We did not come up with the idea for the wall, Donald Trump came up with building the wall," said Yvanna Cancela, the political director of the Culinary Workers Union 226 in Las Vegas.

http://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/wall-taco-trucks-line-trump-s-las-vegas-hotel-protest-n668486

Food trucks are independent businesses.

There is no such thing as a Food Truckers Union.

To unionize a one-person owned and operated business makes zero sense, so only people with no sense would imagine that's the case.

That some food trucks may act in support of the Union workers doesn't make them a part of a Union.

People need to think before they spout s#it off.

It's only funny if you know what the word really means.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

In a word, tribalism. You're not taken as an individual.

I'm not saying it's Planter's but it's Planter's.
This whole election has become more and more difficult for me.  Fortunately, for me I live in either the reddest state there is or at least the 2nd reddest state.  I know that the Donald is going to win my state so, even though for various reasons, I'm not voting, I can't be blamed know matter who wins or loses.  After FR throw everybody out that didn't 100% kiss the Donald's butt, I was invited here.  Finally, a place I could go and be truthful about how I felt without the fear of being banned and constantly called names.  Now it turns out that I must always agree with the media that everything the Donald does or did in the past, or I'm a tRump supporter.

For me, it has always been about tRump and his supporters behavior towards the other republicans in the primaries, particulary Sen. Cruz.  It was their total zeal to utterly destroy Sen. Cruz both professionally and personally that totally turned me off.  Had they and he not behaved the way they did, and still do, I probably would not have had a problem voting for the Donald.  That and their utterly creepy devotion to him.  As much as I thought Sen. Cruz would have made a good President, I was never devoted to him.  Devotion to a politician is stupid.

Anyway, this election has finally come down for me to the fact that the media must be defeated.  If they are not defeated this election we are all in big trouble.  Therefore, I'm not for any candidate :thud:, I'm against the media.  Unfortunately, for the media to be defeated, the Donald has to win. :thud: :thud:

How does that defeat the media, they will still be the media and they lose nothing. Unless you truly expect Trump to destroy the first amendment.

The difference is that at TOS, there was an official squelching by the site management.  Here, you are not shut down by the site, but it's other users who might be knee-jerks.

Congress needs a good cleaning. I was leaning Cruz but didn't really expect him to be very effective in office. Trump may do some good if he keeps putting congress critters on the spot.
