Trump Won't Go Quietly

by Tory Newmyer @ToryNewmyer

He’s holding his pride above patriotism.

Donald Trump’s shackles were apparently attached to his campaign’s wheels, because they’ve both come off. As the Republican presidential nominee faces a cavalcade of sexual harassment and assault allegations that appear primed to doom his candidacy once and for all, he’s conjuring increasingly baroque conspiracy theories to explain his fate.

The latest, on Friday, has Carlos Slim, the Mexican billionaire who holds the largest stake in the New York Times, orchestrating the paper’s reporting on two of his accusers. That, despite the fact that he isn’t pretending to have any evidence for the claim—and that the majority of the allegations have been reported by other outlets. And he deployed a new line of defense, suggesting at least two of his accusers aren’t physically attractive enough for him to have bothered.

But most disturbingly, Trump is now pushing the argument that the election itself has been fixed. Early Saturday, he tweeted that “this election is being rigged by the media pushing false and unsubstantiated charges, and outright lies, in order to elect Crooked Hillary!”

It’s all part of a globalist conspiracy, Trump said Thursday, alleging the “Clinton machine” is working “in secret with international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers, her special interest friends and her donors.”

You can imagine how emboldened they will be when Hillary fails, and say "I told you so."

His supporters are the same. But go he and they will...right into the history books as the people who lied Ted Cruz out of contention and defaulted a liberal to the White house for at least 4 more years.

Trump has never "gone quietly" anywhere in his entire life.   Why would he start now?

His "brand" is forever damaged.  So he has that going for him.

You know what'll be fun though? The silver lining to the dark cloud of Hillary?

Remember how arrogant and boastful his adoring throng was when he won the primary? Remember how they belittled anyone that had opposed Orange Glorious?

Imagine being on the receiving end of "We told you but you didn't listen" for FOUR YEARS each and every time Hillary strips a right, legislates executively and all the rest. It's the least we can do.

Only problem is.....the Trumpocrats aren't capable of introspection and self-blame....so all of those "we told ya sos" will fall on deaf ears....

as they, like typical in-denial liberals, proceed to blame anyone and everyone ELSE for their loss....especially us.

He will merely do what all good little liberals do.  Repackage, redefine, and rebrand himself.

Besides...he's so rich (supposedly) that he'll still have a 'very nice life and a long vacation'.  He's also counting on that quid pro quo from Hillary and the rats.  He'll be just fine.  Snakes and turds always do manage to survive, if not float.

It's quite longer than 4 more years.  I predict a conservative will never ever be president again.  The house and senate may retain a few, but the country as a whole is so far left now, it's beyond hope.

Of course then factor into the equation the supreme court....a liberal court that will get worse year by year.....

Sad.............

Doesn't matter. The more they do it, the worse it will be for them in the pages of history.  Ultimately, the generations that follow us will know why their world ended up the way it did just as we know about the fools who came before us. Just look at Chamberlin.

It shouldn't have to be this way. It DIDn't have to be this way. Conservatives tried to stop this whole mess from happening. But whether or not they ever understand or accept responsibility for the damage they did to America, History will remember. And if thats the only good that comes of this, so be it.

Might be 50 years. It's out of our hands now. But the idea and the ideals that are the constitution/America will never go away forever. Liberalism always eats itself. All we can do is make sure our kids, and they, theirs, know what America once was and what it stood for. Eventually, it will be back.

and Trump will support her and say nice things about her for the next 4 years too. He always loves a "winner". His supporters will love that too, I reckon.

As long as our primary voters look for a strongman and demagogue to vote for...

...we will continue to lose.

(I'd also add that any multi-billionaire owner of a mega-business should be crossed off any list.  We've done this twice now, with both being hated by significant portions of our own party.  That's not counting the rest of the electorate.  Furthermore, we've only really had successes with candidates who've been of more modest means that have spent so time in the halls of government - whether at the state or federal level.)

But the liberals will burn all the copies of the Constitution and any supporting documents and writings.  Then they will rewrite them and/or redefine all the terms so that the original is lost down the memory hole of history.  First change, they will make clear that Judges are the primary way of amending the Constitution.  They do that now via the "living Constitution" farce.  In the future they will allow no room for dissent on that or any other conservative view.

Exactly.   The leftists in control of our demise will simply "rewrite" history in their favor.  They already have, to some degree.  Try finding most of the damning info out there on the net once.  Scrubbed as thoroughly as Hillary's hard drive.

And as long as the enemy (the Democrats) are allowed to cross over and vote for/pick our candidate.

Ah, but Norm.....you're not talking about swiping the minds of folks like us.  You're talking about the continuation of the brainwashing of the easily brainwashed youth and liberals of America.  And yeah...given enough years and enough time 'in power'....and they will manage it.

Right. I agree there. However those years will be spent by people like us ensuring that people remember. And all those years will be a time of worsening everything which even the stupid will be living through. Time is the one commodity that is not on their side. It's on ours. We just have to learn patience and keep doing what we as actual conservatives, are doing.

Actually I'm quite hopeful that 2020 could be a good year for Conservatives. There is going to be nothing but gridlock in Congress even if the Dims narrowly win the Senate, she won't be able to pass anything, the economy will get worse, her health is shot so there is a good chance she wont seek reelection. In short I think it will be a golden opportunity for Conservatives, as long as theyrun and  unite behind a Conservative  ....

If we had a congress that was not on record giving Barry whatever major issue he wanted I'd agree. But this is Ryan, Mitch and the gang that never met a principle they would not compromise.
