It isn't Clinton doing the dividing. I know most of the 'nevertrumps' here, and have known them a very long time. Every man-jack of them is anti-amnesty, and fought the fight for the border fence. Your argument would hold weight if it wasn't the Republicans we were fighting then (and even yet). ...and likewise, if your candidate was even mildly believable (he has reversed everything he has ever said) or trustworthy (try and find just ten minutes of any speech he has made that doesn't contain a lie). Your statement explains perfectly why you find it easy to support an immoral low-character buffoon.
@roamer_1 I believe the following few reasons are the bedrock of why he can't win.
Fighting with Republican leaders.
Complaining that everything from the polls to the debates to the entire election is rigged against him.
Not bothering to practice before the debates, when he'll be watched by nearly 100 million people.
Not bothering to mount a ground operation to get his supporters to the polls.
Making Bill Clinton's affair the thematic centerpiece of his campaign.
Alienating moderate women, Latinos, and pretty much any key voting bloc he can't afford to lose.
It takes money to develop a ground game to get voters to the polls, and he isn't doing that. Clinton did put money into swing states to have workers in counties/parishes to register voters and those workers will get the voters to the polls. Trump is relying on rallies and no votes happen in rallies.
In speaking of the women who have come forward to accuse him, he has said something like this, "Look at her. No way." This is the worst comment he could make and here is why that comment lost him mega women's votes:
Every woman, or 99.99% of women, doubt they are a 10 on the disgusting rating scale of women's looks and that is Trump's way of rating women. We were born the way we look and are stuck with that our entire life. When Trump says, "Look at her. No way." Women take that as a blow to their looks, the way they were born. There is NO WAY a woman would vote for him if they hear that comment.
How do I rate on his scale? Most of you know I am 83 - I am a nothing to him and neither is any woman after she is 35. He told Howard Stern a man should change his woman when she becomes 35. That is why I say women are furniture to Trump - they are only furniture to look good.
When Trump says, "No way" every woman knows she is nothing to him. It doesn't matter if she has good brains and accomplishes goals, she is still nothing to him. I have watched the polls about women the past couple of days, and he is at the bottom of their list, worse than any election going back decades.
Women think this of being rated by him: Women would use their finest casserole recipe, bake him into the casserole and then dump it in the trash. They would use him as a mop to clean their floor, then dump the Trump mop in the trash. They would take him to their work, then grind him up in the pencil sharpener. They would stick him in their carpool when they take the children to school, then run over him with the car. They would have him stay up in the middle of the night when their child is sick, then give him castor oil and lock him in the bathroom.
Women are born with genes to enable them to be mothers and lovers and helpers and genes determine their level of smarts and the way they look. No woman should be discounted based on her looks because there is so much good in them. Golda Meir was a big boned woman, a big woman, and by Trump's evaluation she is nothing, however she led Israel when they were in trouble and is revered by them. Marie Curie discovered two new chemical elements – radium and polonium, but she was a plain looking woman, so she would not make Trump's 10 list.
Every woman should dump Trump and his 10 list.
