Yes.  When he first put himself up for nomination I thought  surely  all the main talking heads and scribblers would write a column or speak about the absurdity of this egotistical ignoramus believing he could be president.
Imagine my consternation when many of those people dove head first after Trump praising him for being "refreshing" "not a typical pol" "upsetting  the applecart" etc. I was flabbergasted. Surely, these esteemed scribblers and THs could see what a conman Trump was? Couldn't they?
Well, I guess not. Even Limbaugh and Steyn fell for his bs.  (And Trump had even gone after Steyn for something, and Steyn still thought  he was the best possible Pubbie candidate.) I expected maybe Hannity wasn't smart enough to see through him.

It's snarky appeals like this that do Trump no good.   NeverTrump conservatives aren't selfish and care deeply about the country.   That's why we cannot in good conscience support Trump,  even as we know that Clinton has nothing in common with us politically.   Trump lacks the temperament to be President;  he's simply too impulsive,  narcissistic  and infected with megalomania to be put in charge of our troops and our nuclear arsenal. 

My vote against Trump is entirely against my self-interest -  I know damn well that Clinton will be terrible,  and her corruption is Nixonian.   But in the end I cannot abide someone who's batspit crazy in the White House.
