With Trump campaign in freefall, RNC members greeted with ‘radio silence’ from party.

As Donald Trump’s campaign unravels, the Republican National Committee has gone dark – failing to give GOP vendors guidance on whether to keep working for the nominee or to move resources into down-ballot races and not even returning calls from party members ahead of a critical late-afternoon meeting about the way forward.

Numerous Republicans on Monday used the same phrase to describe the response of the RNC to their questions – “radio silence.”

I don't think they'll replace him, they'll just disavow him and focus on down ticket races. They'll say his race is his to run.

"Worse" at this point would be wandering into "dead girl or live boy" territory.  Awful to contemplate, but I'd speculate on there being a sex tape. 

At least then, we'd know if there was any truth to the stories about his hands....

One member, Representative Dana Rohrabacher of California, attacked Republicans stepping away from Mr. Trump as “cowards,” three lawmakers said. Another, Representative Trent Franks of Arizona, used graphic language to describe abortion and said allowing Mrs. Clinton into the White House would end with fetuses being destroyed “limb from limb.”

In an effort to quiet the uproar, Mr. Ryan chimed back in after about 45 minutes to assure members that he was not withdrawing his endorsement of Mr. Trump, but rather doing what he considered to be in the best interests of the House.

It won't come out for two weeks.  The DNC has to let the GOP fool itself into thinking they survived the worst, stick with Trump, and then, when it is absolutely too late to get rid of him, the next set of shoes drops.
