Poll: Voters Want the GOP to Stand With Trump

Nearly three-quarters of Republican voters, 74 percent, surveyed on Saturday said party officials should continue to support Trump. Only 13 percent think the party shouldn’t back him.

Politico reports that all poll respondents were showed the video in which Trump converses off-camera with then-“Access Hollywood” anchor Billy Bush.

According to Politico, not only do three-quarters of Republican voters want the party to stand behind Trump, fewer than a third of voters are willing to give greater consideration to a candidate who un-endorses Trump.

Why would that be? He's going to win his reelection by a mile.

The Trumpshirts are totally coming unhinged, foaming at the mouth insane rantings of betrayals and castigating 'holier-than-thou's who are offended at Trump's bragging of sexual assault.

I expect they will get more nuts in the days to come.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Wait till he crashes and burns tonight.  They will be absolutely besides themselves; of course it will be the moderators fault for asking tough questions; nothing to do with anything their orange monkey does or says.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

This is actually an awful poll for Trump. 26% of respondents fell in line of not supporting him or no opinion.

Again, as a reminder, somewhere around 95% of Republicans supported Romney, 92% supported McCain.  Trump peaked a short while back at 83%.

This means his own party support is crashing around him.

..and this is an extreme poll to in that it asks the question about the party supporting him, not just if they would hold their own nose. So he is probably slipping even further there..

In other words, trends are working against him like an avalanche.

The other half of his support comes from Bernie Sanders Dems.  What does that tell you?
