I have to laugh at all the Trumpsters on TOS who were positively convinced that His Orangeness would easily trounce Her Heinous. After the debate many of them seemed dazed and confused. They, and certain radio talk show hosts, tried to convince themselves that at worst it was a draw or that Trump had actually won. Besides, if Trump lost it was only because Der Donald was battling two opponents, Holt and Her Heinous.
The truth is Trump is not nearly smart or quick enough to debate anybody as wily and conniving as Hillary. He doesn't know where to begin. He has his talking points that he's used since last year and a bagful of insults. That's it. He has no grasp of facts and figures and no underlying political philosophy to counter Hillary's progressive lies.
Before the debate many of them cackled that their hero, their idol would have no problem dispatching Shrillary who would melt down and have to be whisked or transported off the stage after receiving the brunt of Trump's limitless supply of genius talking points and barbs.
Too bad Trumpsters that your idol is just a gaseous, ignorant windbag who is lost when insults don't work.
