(CNSNews.com) – Orlando shooter Omar Mateen identified himself to an Orlando police negotiator as “Islamic soldier, according to a transcript [1] of the exchange, and praised Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev as his “homeboy.”

“My name is Islamic soldier, okay?” Mateen said after the police negotiator identified himself.

“Call me Mujahideen, call me the Soldier of the God,” Mateen added.

Orlando Shooter to Police: ‘You’re Speaking to the Person Who Pledged Allegiance to the Islamic State’

(CNSNews.com) - Orlando shooter Omar Mateen immediately pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS) in talks with the Orlando police the day he killed 49 people at an Orlando nightclub on June 12, according to a transcript [1] released Friday.

“You're speaking to the person who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of (unidentified name),” Mateen told a police negotiator when asked to identify who he was, according to the transcript.

I'm just guessing here but I'll bet the police still aren't ready (with push from Obama and the DOJ) to call this a terrorist attack.
