And knowing that Trump has the maturity of a 12 year old, the Clinton campaign knows that everything they try will work.

Not just Trumps camp but his supporters too. Keep them chasing the white rabbit.

What would be the upside of Trump's calling a gorgeous Latino woman "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping?"

There is absolutely no way to spin this in Trump's favor.

He's a creep.

I watched the interview last night of "Miss Piggy" on the Kelley files.  She is from Venezuela and at the time suffered from bulimia and they had video tape of Trump commenting and leering at her (very creepy).  Though she had a hard time articulating and her English was very poor, she made her point that she didn't think someone like Trump would be good as president.  Kelly congratulated her on her recent citizenship. They also interviewed someone from the Trump camp and they tried to spin it by focusing on negatives of Hillary. No.  There is no redemption for Donald on this one.  His degradation of women and now a Latino woman is in full focus.

Trump was like, "Oh, really," when Hillary said Machado is a citizen. He was thinking, "As President, could I revoke that?"

That was also all Hilarious Rodent Clinton could talk about either. She was so obsessed about the body shaming
side of it she never once thought to bring up Ms. Machado's other legal issues, even though Donaldus Minimus
likewise dropped the ball by focusing strictly on her body (which is really a non-issue) and saying nothing
about her old legal issues.

Now, in fairness: Ms. Machado has not been formally convicted in any court of law for any crime so far as anyone
knows. And there is other evidence to suggest that she hasn't exactly been a one hundred percent model
citizen. It's said she was once engaged to former baseball player Bobby Abreu, an engagement that croaked
after she was seen having sex with another participant on a South American reality television show and Abreu
broke the engagement. She is also thought to have had a child fathered by a member of the Mexican drug
cartel known as Los Nagos, though she first said the father was a Mexican legitimate businessman before
Mexico's attorney general revealed the actual paternity.

Fair enough. Those are lapses in judgment, not crimes. But it's telling that a) Hilarious Rodent Clinton chose
to focus on the trivial issue of her body; b) Donaldus Minimus chose to wrestle back on that issue alone,
without once reaching toward the other character issues that might have gone farther to undermine her
credibility as a Clinton supporter than does bringing up crimes for which she was never, so far as is known,
prosecuted in any court; and, c) that some of Donaldus Minimus's supporters choose to lean on the
unprosecuted charges instead of the actual character issues.

Clearly enough, both candidates grasp at straws and do nothing much more than expose themselves both,
further, as absolutely and without reservation unfit for the presidency.

I agree with that.

As far as I'm concerned, Machado can have legal issues and Trump can be a jerk who harassed her.  The two are not mutually exclusive.

Ok, 'Miss Piggy' has a lot of baggage. That still doesn't excuse Trump's insults towards her.  His campaign may try to use this to discredit her claim against him, but the video tape of him is very damaging.

Clinton campaign would love lure Trump surrogates into discrediting Machado so they can keep it fresh. Guess what they're doing?

Noah Rothman ‏@NoahCRothman  1h1 hour ago
I've watched a fair bit of morning news TV. GMA, MoJo, Today. Lots of stuff on Alicia Machado. All bad for Trump. No two sides to it.

@sinkspur

So has Trump gone after Hillary on any of the issues that came up during the debate, as candidates usually do?  Or has he trashed yet another opportunity to attack her?

She's an insignificant distraction. Naturally the Trumpers need to expend as much energy as possible destroying her.  That energy might otherwise be used fighting Clinton and the democrats.

Miss Sinaloa, arrested for drug trafficking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Z%C3%BA%C3%B1iga

More stories are out there, some unconfirmed and may be over the top.
Hate to say it but I'm on the Donald's side on this one.  The woman gained 50-60 pounds thereby breaking her contract.  The picture of her working out was well after she had lost a bunch of the weight.  There is no excuse for gaining that kind of weight in under a year.  She was a Miss Piggy and I have no doubt she is also a criminal.  I'm a woman and this doesn't bother me in the least.  If a football player under contract had gained this kind of weight in this time frame everybody would be on his case, as they should be.

As much as I dislike the Donald this is just ridiculous.  I don't trust this woman at all.  Don't find her the least bit appealing either.

Well, IMHO, this is where Clinton is going to come out ahead.  The reality is, most recently the scandals that surround her are the Fast 'n Furious, Benghazi, e-mails, rise of ISIS, Clinton Foundation, etc., however, she has never been held accountable and in essence has been given a free pass.  He can bring all these issues up again and the 'shock factor' won't be there. Her 'issues' have already been made public.  Whereas if Clinton brings up scandals surrounding Trump such as this one, it's new, it brings negative focus that hasn't been scrutinized by the public before now.

My husband has always hated skinny women (the way they look, that is!).   And this woman, by ANY standard is stunning.

I've had a theory for a long time now that Donnie has "Mommy issues."  He most likely didn't get the proper attention from the most important woman in his life...... his mother, and now craves attention by belittling and degrading women to make himself feel like a man.

The man-child is troubled....... DEEPLY troubled.

@CatherineofAragon

@musiclady

She's gorgeous.  I'm a married woman, but during my single dating days, I personally never met a man who liked skinniness.  Look at mens' magazines---they're full of curves, not bones.

I think it's fair to speculate on whether Trump has mommy issues.  Something messed the man up.

It's really too bad that the women he abuses tend to be employees or meek types who shut up and walk behind him.  He really needs an encounter with a female who'll tell him some uncomfortable truths about himself.

Trump spent his speech last night saying things about Clinton he didn't have the presence of mind to say on Monday.  Since nobody but Trumpkins saw the rally, nobody else cares.

Did you see these?

We now have four scientific polls on who won the debate:

Morning Consult: Hillary +23
YouGov: Hillary +27
CNN: Hillary +25
PPP: Hillary +11

Yeah............... like you or me!  ^-^

I doubt he's ever had any woman near him who is strong and confident.  He'd melt like a little puddle on the floor if he ever had to deal with strength.  I seriously have met 13 year old boys who are more confident and self-assured than he is. (I've taught middle school and Jr High and have dealt with a LOT of young boys/men).

All that ego covers a very wimpy child.  NO confident man acts like he does or says the degrading things he does about women.  None.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

That's a good point.  The public's memory is very short.

Still, Trump just continues to pass on opportunities to attack Clinton.  Erick Erickson asked again this morning, if he were trying to throw the election to her, what would he be doing differently?

Trumps actually sued the Daily Mail about a month ago for defamation of character as to what the newspaper said about Melania.

I don't know how to post pictures but if you do there is a picture out there with the 60 pound weight gain.  It's pretty bad.  If you find it and know how to post them, you should post it.  Maybe it'll shut some people up.

Sorry people, she wasn't "curvy", she was fat.

I think that's it, rather than an actual attempt to throw the election.  He's just too messed up to avoid these traps.

Oh Dear, Clinton’s Latest Campaign Surrogate is a: Murder Accomplice, Hard Core Porn Star and Drug Lord Concubine…

Posted on September 28, 2016   by sundance
This has to be the worst campaign vetting in the history of failed campaign vetting… Or the most horrible exploitation, Clintonian level exploitation, of a very troubled woman…. You decide.

Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton’s entire campaign narrative is now centered around, and vested in, using a former Miss Venezuela, Alicia Machado, as an attack surrogate against Donald Trump.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign goal is to paint Donald Trump as anti-woman, and fat-shaming, because the Miss Universe pageant owner told Machado she needed to lose the 50+ lbs she gained after winning the 1996 beauty pageant title.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/

Amazing that Alicia is being defended so much, the same people jumping out of the gates to call someone orange or whatever.  :silly:
