Trump has NEVER made even a feeble attempt to reach out to people who oppose him.

Instead, he does what he does best, and that's trash us.

'Ef him.

What's frustrating is that Clinton makes no gestures towards moderate or conservatives,  and indeed doubles down on her move to the left  (e.g., yesterday's news that she wants to raise the estate tax.)   It's almost as if she's pushing NeverTrumpers back to the Republican fold.

She has no traction, either. They are both pushing the same way.

There has never really been such thing as a Never Trump "movement".

There are however, a number of individuals who based on their personal convictions, together with their God-given right to free-will, have decided that they will not support the Presidential candidates from either major party in this election.

In my case, neither individual represents me, my values, or those standards I look for in a POTUS. A great nation deserves a great President, not a charlatan or a crook.

I couldn't possibly care less whether or not my choice finds favor with anyone, specially with Mr. Trump. In fact, that's been the case my entire life since no political choice that I've ever made has found the approval of any liberal Democrat, a description that, insofar as I am concerned, fits Mr. Trump rather too snugly.

#NeverTrump is an individual choice, but in a time of runaway populism and liberal central planning authoritarianism disguised as conservatism run amock, individualism is a dangerous movement to be suppressed and ridiculed, and those who steadfastly hold on to their beliefs can indeed be islands

@libertybele

   I have never Donated to the GOP, only Cruz in the primaries and I too am flooded with trump crap in all my mailboxes even the one on my street.

   I can only surmise Cruz gave it to the GOP which shared it with Trump.  I'll use it for kindling this winter, so it's all good.
The other day in the mail I got three envelopes from the Donald.  One without my middle name, one with my middle initial and one with my full middle name, all had the same thing inside.  How ridiculous is that.  Don't know how they got my address since I just moved here a year ago and didn't even register as a Republican.  Haven't donated any money either.

Sorry, but the #NeverTrump movement is dead.
That's okay because I consider myself more of the #NeverLyingCrazyLiberal movement, which is why I'm not voting for either the Beast or the Donald.

Ditto.  I don't know how in the heck his camp got my e-mail address, but I keep getting solicitations for monetary donations.  I have unsubscribed numerous times and I have even responded that I am #NeverTrump and I still get solicited.  I'm not quite sure at this point what part of #NeverTrump doesn't he get.

Same here. In past elections I would get a email asking for money or support maybe once a week, and that is with me supporting them and even volunteering. With the Trump army its daily spam.

@kevindavis

I was never looking to be part of a movement.  I refuse to vote for Trump because he's a liberal piece of garbage; it was that way with me from day one.  And it will stay that way if I'm the last NeverTrump standing.

Can you imagine how much more productive it would be for Trump if he said something like 'I will continue to work hard to prove to the NeverTrumpers that I am worthy of their votes. We want them on board'.

Why can't this idiot put himself and his ego aside just once?

The time to do that was in the primary.

Frankly none of it makes any sense to me. He's so sure of his historic landslide victory I don't quite understand the desperation for us to get on board.

Because it's just not a part of who he is.  He's seventy years old and he's not going to change.

Question: How does pointing out how weak and ineffective #nevertrump is translate into desperation for your support?

Answer: It doesn't.

Right.  And putting these Trump emails in the spam folder doesn't work.  Next day they reappear in your Inbox, while other emails deemed spam go directly to the spam folder afterwards.  Somehow, the Trump camp has managed to "rig" the system and get around the spam filter.  The only way to keep them out of your Inbox is to block the email addresses.  Which I have.

Maybe someone can explain this to me.  Trump and Hillary are close in the polls.  Trump needs all the votes he can get if he really wants to beat Clinton.  So instead of schmoozing those who don't trust him, he and his worshipers on social media are whining, crying insulting and threatening.  Don't Trump and his supporters realize that their behavior only makes people like me more determined NOT to vote for him?
