It is now obvious that Hillary Clinton is in no shape for the rigors of campaigning, much less the killing responsibilities of the presidency.  Where’s the compassion?

Hillary Clinton was spotted by Getty Images photographer Justin Sullivan being helped up stairs at Temple University in Philadelphia, where she was making a speech supposedly making a pitch to millenials.  But if any suburban moms happened to catch her on the local news and decide to vote for her instead of Trump, why, that would be welcome.

But the image of a presidential candidate being helped up stairs, again, is the last thing she needs.

We are not allowed to publish Getty images, so I must direct you to Gateway Pundit to see the picture, but under the fair use doctrine, publication of the caption probably will not result in a lawsuit:

Quote
PHILADELPHIA, PA – SEPTEMBER 19: Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is helped up stairs after delivering a millennial speech at Temple University on September 19, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hillary Clinton is campaigning in Pennslyvania [sic]. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)

We are nearing the point where “torching” Hillary – dumping her as the candidate late in the race, as happened when Democrats in New Jersey dumped scandal-plagued Senate nominee incumbent Robert Torricelli in early October 2002, barely a month prior to the election – is attractive to Dems.  As irregular as this may seem, the New Jersey Supreme Court unanimously supported the move despite no statutory authorization

Of course, presidential ballots are a state issue, and there is no guarantee that all 50 state supreme courts will be as accommodating as New Jersey’s was to the imperative of Democrats to have an electable candidate.

The Democrats never bothered vetting Hillary’s health, or anything else about her.  Now they are paying the price for running a sick old woman while proclaiming themselves the party of compassion.

She had a death grip on the SS agent's hand. Wonder if she will have some excuse to get out of the debate? Note that there has been no release of neurological reports or medications prescribed by doctors other than Bardack.

That is one picture of a man holding her hand - one cannot see exactly if she is actually going up stairs (the picture is rather dark) but one can assume stairs going up, due to the two holding hands.

Also, it is "assuming" there is a "death grip" she has or a "death grip" the man has.  It is also natural for a man to help an older woman up or down stairs.  I hold on to my Bob's arm when I go up or down stairs but I would still be a better president than either one of them.

On my first day in office, I would pin the Medal of Honor on mystery-ak.  The public would say, "Who is this mystery-ak?"  But we on this forum would know and also know she deserves it.  If I were president, mystery-ak could sleep in the Lincoln bedroom, FREE.

We could have one of the White House rooms set aside for Briefing Room members and serve STARBUCK'S COFFEE FREE, plus fattening pastries and peach cobbler and blueberry cobbler.

Of course, if I were president, Ted Cruz would be Vice President and we would get this country conservative again and the Constitution would be our guide to clean out programs not covered by the Constitution.  National Prayer day would be a significant day.

She's not even 70 years old yet and she can barely get around. Her mobility is far worse than most people I've met her age.

Then again, no one should be surprised you're making excuses for her. I will commend you for at least being honest about supporting Hillary unlike others.

Of course there was FDR............

At least Hillary doesn't have to run home to sleep in her own bed every night like the germophobic Trump.

I look for truth, wherever that leads me.  I don't support Clinton but Trump is too dangerous to be president and that leaves Clinton.  Plus, I don't "hate" either one, but I know what their primary behaviors are and what they believe.  Not voting for one is not "hate".  The "hate" word is primarily used by proTrump people against nonTrump people.  "Hate" is an easy word to throw around and takes the place of researching positions of the candidates and putting that in writing to contrast the positions of both candidates.

I didn't see a handrail so an assist might be normal. She also appears to be overweight.

I am no Hillary supporter, but this article is silly.  So somebody helped Hillary up the steps.  Big deal.  I am a not-quite-yet-elderly woman who is plenty healthy enough to play tennis and/or shoot hoops with my sons, but if someone offers me a hand to walk up the steps, I'm going to take it.  It's a common courtesy.  Have we forgotten those?

If there's a video out there showing Hillary wobbling up the steps and unable to make it on her own without the support, then I will stand (with or without a helping hand, thank you very much) corrected. Otherwise, there are plenty of other reasons to question Hillary's overall health and I see no need to make one up.

No, they are looking at the stairs as they are also walking up the stairs.

@Victoria33

Opinions vary.

Most in the image are not even to the steps so there is no need for them to look at them.    But again, opinions vary and you are entitled to yours.

You know this isn't an isolated incident.

"Nothing to see here, move along" is the calling card of the Clinton Campaign.

Well I certainly hope it is not an isolated event.  Common courtesy SHOULD be a common event by definition.
 :tongue2:

I don't disagree that Hillary appears to have health issues -- which is why I said, "there are plenty of other reasons to question Hillary's overall health and I see no need to make one up."  I just don't agree that this single snapshot of a moment in time is evidence of it.  And if the Clinton Campaign is calling, I'm not answering.

Edited to add -- This actually seems much more damning than the hand up the stairs:  http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,225885.0/topicseen.html

I never said that.

Repeating what I said: this is not an isolated incident and is probably connected to her absence today.

It's obvious with her health maladies, she could only be a part-time President at best.
