Trump is a man who has called for our military to commit war crimes... and who, by his own words, doesn't believe that all Americans are truly American citizens (Judge Curiel).

What's to keep him from turning that military on those Americans he determines to be insufficiently "American"?

He and his are already drawing up lists.

It's not a question of how well the military will be treated... but how they'll be used.  Who do you think will use our military less.  And who will have them not act in a manner that will put them on the dock at the Hague.

Trump is a dope who ignorantly shoots his mouth off. My feeling is that when it comes to most policy decisions, he'll defer to people who know better, like Pence.

Good points.  How do you think Clinton will use and treat the military?

More of the same.

She'll probably strengthen our forces in Europe (especially Poland) to act as a bulkwark against more Russian land grabs.

She'll likely push for better funding by calling for the end to the sequester.  (Yes, it still exists and it still causing problems.)  Politically, she's smart enough to do so, knowing the GOP will scream bloody murder.  Then she gets a two-fer, calling for boosted military funding and showing how much the GOP 'hates' funding the military.

Outside of that, I think she'll let the JCS and Congress deal with the nuts and bolts of military benefits and pay.
