University of Mississippi campus police cracked down hard on any students who waved the state flag of Mississippi during Saturday’s game with the school’s rival Alabama.

Students who had their flags taken away by police — along with signs declaring “Let The Band Play Dixie” — said they were threatened with arrest if they did not give them up.

Someone should organize a very large group, hundreds of students, to stand and sing Dixie at some point during the game. Are they going to arrest them all? It's time to push back.

As for the state flag, how can that be illegal? Does it not fly any where on campus? Time for the people who fund these educational looney bins to put a stop to this nonsense.

I used to wonder how we had communities in the mid 1600's where neighbors burned each other at the stake.  All it took was a simple phrase, "She's a witch!" and the mob was whipped into a frenzy.

I no longer wonder how that could have possibly happened....
