Yes, he's very strange and seemingly without talent.  Apparently a very troubled person.

Which isn't surprising because he's also been very public about the sexual abuse he suffered as a kid in Hollywood.   He claims to have been repeatedly raped by adults in the industry.   Many people have come out acknowledging the abuse but there is no 'proof'.   Apparently many knew it was happening but kept their mouths shut because the guy IS a powerful producer.

@mountaineer

I read an article about Feldman this morning that all but identified the producer that sodomized him when he was a teen,and mentioned that producer got caught in the act with another teen male actor later on and ended up serving 6 months in a luxury rehab facility before being released,and going back to directing children with no complaints from anybody.

Despite Hollywood being to the political left of the 1960's Kremlin,none of the financial people there give a damn what you do as long as you make money for them. NOT making a profit for them is the ultimate sin,and one that won't be forgiven.

Corey needs change his image.  Reverse it, in fact.

He needs to drop the black, gothic, bad boy BS....and "come out" as an angelic gay person.  If he had done that, bleached his hair platinum, and pranced around the stage like the best drag show angel evah.....

his song would no doubt have been a hit.  Despite the horrible voice and no talent.

Oh, and instead of having the girls in his backup band dressed as angels, he should have put them in the devilish outfits.

It's all about presentation these days....and pretending to be other than what you are (all the rage among Trump fans too).  He got it exactly backwards.  Plus, most of his audience don't believe in angels OR in Hell....sooo....

But why afraid to go out? That was so bad no one would even threaten to put that act out of its misery.
@Smokin Joe

I listened to it using your link and got out of that to "go for it", but he didn't tell us what to go for, unless it was in the jumble of words somewhere.  Maybe it was "go for 'like'" as that appears to be the one word he "goes for".  Like, his dancing was nuts, like the music was not music, like his voice was in and out of tune, like when you could hear it, like the whole thing was a mistake to put together.  Like, I didn't "like" it.

Oh, I dunno. Give the kid guy a lyricist, a composer, a choreographer, a stand in, some make up and lighting people, and a couple of quaaludes backstage, the show might almost work out...

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Right keep telling yourself that if it makes you sleep better.

The reality is obvious to all.

ut-down, you should do anything that comes to mind. Murder? Sex? Suicide? We do not know. But, go-for-it anyway.

The song is bad. The lyrics are bad. The message is insanity. And the dancing speaks for itself. Where is Simon Cowell when you need him?

Mr. Feldman came well prepared, but unfortunately
His presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards.
His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it
Consistently interesting.

Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order.

Wait... do the naked babes come with it?

Free shipping is one thing, but that offer might entice me to buy!

Pete put this one here in the music thread.  It can stay but it is "borderline" for this forum.

Wait... so you're saying homosexuality is actually a danger and ruins lives?

Hmmm... who would've thunk?

@bolobaby

I don't think theres any doubt of that although I would phase it differently as it seems to imply that the homosexual activity was consensual.   Corey Feldman was raped, repeatedly and on numerous occasions, by the producer he was working for as a child.    He was approximately 10 or 11 years old when this occurred.

Some people can handle that and some can't.   I'd agree he needs to find another line of work though.

If they did you would still be out of luck because I'd already have them.

Tell ya what,if I do get them,I'll be happy to send you Cory as a consolation prize. How's that?

RAPE can be a danger to your psyche and can ruin you life,regardless of if it is homosexual or heterosexual rape.

I don't know,but strongly suspect that homosexual rape of a heterosexual is much harder for the victim to deal with when it comes to restoring their "Sense of self".

And let's be clear about it,Feldman was a underage teen when it happened,and it WAS rape because a child can't give an adult permission to have sex with them,and there is also the (maybe/probable) unspoken threat of losing his job and career if he protested.

I wonder if there is a statute of limitations for child rape in Ca?

That producer needs to spend the rest of his freaking life AND lose his fortune for that. The one thing we can be sure of is that if he did it to Feldman,he did it to other children,also.

MY preference is he should be hanged in public,but I know that will never happen.

Yes, I was specifically referring to the fact that gay predation is very, very real and ruins the life of many.

Corey Feldman is so beyond mentally messed up I'm surprised he can walk his own dog around the block without assistance.

Hollywood seems to do that to children.

According to some articles I found there is a statute of limitations depending on the circumstances.   Corey has made public statements that if he said who it was the only result would be him getting sued.    One of his coworkers who was also a teen at the time made public statements and named the person in front of witnesses.   That coworker died shortly thereafter, I think due to cancer.

It's almost impossible to win in court when facing someone with a virtually unlimited amount of cash to hire lawyers to both defend him and to counter sue you into bankruptcy if you lose.

@Sanguine

People should pay for their crimes in order to keep them from repeating them. If you can't do it one way,you do it another way.

This is especially true for dangerous criminals like child rapists.

Then again,nobody has ever accused me of being shy when it comes to payback. You leave me alone to live in peace,I will leave you alone to live in peace. You bother me,and I will bother you more. Maybe not all that PC,but it sure has worked for me all my life.

@sneakypete

I know what you are saying. It's the Judge Roy Bean defense: "But, Your Honor, he just needed killing". I'm not accusing you of bravado, but it isn't something to be undertaken lightly. To quote a poster from TOS, long ago:
Quote
"When normally non-violent men feel compelled to apply extrajudicial justice, it is an excruciating deliberation. They are fully aware that no system will protect them and that one day they will stand naked before their maker and have to justify their actions. No jury will deliberate harder or face the moral questions more squarely than moral men who have chosen an avenue of questionable morality out of necessity."
FReeper MARTIAL MONK
One must be equally certain of two things: the unrepentant guilt of the party, and that the system will not perform as it should in prosecuting that party.
That said, I am all for some 'old school' solutions to obvious problems, and have found an axe handle or pick handle can cause sudden enlightenment for miscreants in the hands of a young lady's Dad and a couple of Uncles or friends of the family. The mere presence of a shotgun can bring about an epiphany, followed by sudden relocation. The sad state of affairs, though is that doing such opens one up to being brought before the bench.

Don't look now....but Feldman's "performance" just got even worse.  This time, he managed to drop the US flag on stage.  Since he didn't try to pick it up and just went on with the "performance", one has to assume that he dropped it intentionally....even though he has issued a lame apology.

But at least he traded in the dark hoodie for a white one.   I suppose that could be deemed as an improvement.  But then....there's the Michael Jackson hair ......holy chit, batman!

Well, if people spend their column inches and airtime dealing with how he treated the flag, they won't spend it on how he has treated 'music'. There may be a method to that madness.

Off topic, but that guy is 45? What? Has he been kept in a jug of hand lotion all his life?
