There’s something happening here. And what it is, well, it’s perfectly clear: There’s a peaceful revolution rumbling through the country. On one side of the metaphorical barricade: Donald Trump and his “deplorables.” On the other side: Hillary Clinton and her close allies, the Mainstream Media.

I won't be here after the election and vote.

If Hillary wins - I will be busy, BLOAT! (It won't be long before she won't let you buy.)

If Trump wins, I won't be here to GLOAT. (I don't want to hang around while everyone looks at every speck in his eye.)

He has harnessed anger.
That's all.
Anger.

He has lied to get the angry to reject better men, and invoked that anger against them.

His followers daily demonstrate their anger against all who will not join with him, even though they are not in the Clinton camp and will not support her either.

Nothing peaceful will come of this.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Oh yeah…. the death threats and promises of being hunted down and shot for treason by Trump's rabid militants because we refuse to vote for their prince are  hardly signs of a 'peaceful revolution'.

I've heard and read NOTHING but  suggested or implied violence in the rhetoric from their nominee on down, including from radio blowhards like Sean Hannity.

They are not signs of any peaceful revolution, but harbingers of a coming bloodletting, and not just in the political sense.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Hmm....harnessing anger in one's followers and directing that anger at a certain target or group.  Now where, in all of history, have we witnessed that before?   :pondering:

France late 1700s, in Moscow early 1900s, among other places. All over at one time or another. Angry people do stupid things.
